G7 Color Certification
Shawmut prides itself on the quality of our printing, and quality starts in our prepress department. In 2009, we received G7 color certification, which is a specification used to provide consistent grayscale reproduction across multiple devices, processes and media. This certification has various benefits for our print customers including:
• Color reproduction is consistent from proof to press
• Color is consistent from printed sheet to printed sheet
• Color is consistent from print job to print job
With G7 color certification as a color control system, Shawmut has shorter make-readies, reduced waste and lower costs—important features which benefit our print customers.
